Three-time winner Sam McKnight, who is now a Creative Head Icon, is certainly one of the most accomplished hair stylists of his generation. Wella Professional XPOSURE 2020
Experts Wella Professionals have unveiled the winners of its XPOSURE 2020 competition for trainee hairdressers as they take the focus back to school. To allow for social distancing, the competition was structured remotely this year. Hundreds of hopefuls submitted photographic entries online equally showcasing their hairdressing skills across Creative Colour and Colour the Cut categories.
“We had a record number of entries this year, which under the current circumstances, is incredible,” said Allie Hargreaves, the national events manager for Wella UK & Ireland. “The standard throughout has been incredibly good,” she continued. “British hairdressing is clearly in safe hands if this entry-level standard is anything to go by. Congratulations to all the winners.”
So, who were the winners? Siobhan Hearns took home the Creative Colour gold award while Lily Cumper came first for the category Colour The Cut.
