The Wolf Cut
Kicking off the Spring Summer 2022 trend report we have the wild Wolf Cut. As its name implies, the wolf cut is fierce, thanks to an abundance of shaggy, wavy layers; and the shorter mullet-like layers at the front. The trademark? Apart from serious attitude, is lots of volume at the top, that tapers towards the bottom, finished off with a heavy fringe or side-fringe. The key is to have just the right amount of texture to give the style a relaxed, cool-girl feel, but not so radical that it’s impossible to style.
The only thing better than big volume curls? Even bigger beautiful curls – and we’ll be seeing a lot more of them moving into 2022, according to top hair stylists. Charlotte Mensah, an awarding winning stylist, predicts that going forward “we’re going to see more natural hair fluffed out and allowed to do its own thing.”
The Fashion Evolution
So, how can you take part in this trend? The first of such digital couture to be sold is the dress called ‘Iridescence’ created by The Fabricant. Dress X now allows you to purchase virtual garments and apply them to original photos, cutting your environmental imprint and elevating your feed.
