Last Sunday much loved artists took to the red carpet in Los Angeles for the 2021 Grammy Awards.
Taylor Swift took home a grammy for Album of the year, but her trophy wasn’t the only thing that caught our eye! Swift embraced a spring feel, flaunting a floral dress by Oscar de la Renta. It seems the embroidered flower trend of 2017 isn’t behind us, and we aren’t mad about it! The colourful dress was also eye-catching for its bell sleeves and matching face mask!
Is it wrong to say Dua Lipa looked like a sexy barbie doll? The jewels from the Versace number glistened silver and pink flecks across the red carpet. The dress consisted of spaghetti straps and a thigh-high slit, with a butterfly bodice to compromise the striking look. All paired together with a sleek and straight hairdo and sparkly purple eye shadow.
Lizzo arrived in a ruched mint green Balmain dress. The look was playful yet iconic. Bvlgari jewels also complimented the chromatic shimmer of the dress. The super-long extensions finished off this fun and girly look.
Schiaparelli is making waves at the minute and Daniel Roseberry’s infamous style was donned by Noah Cyrus. The fashion house’s signature for cloud-like designs was carried forward into the dress that Cyrus donned.
Billie Eilish is notorious for her creative fits and she didn’t fail to amaze us with a unique ensemble! Her pink, black and grey patterned button-down shirt was paired with matching flares and accessorised with a mask and bucket hat in the same design.
Harry Styles was sporting head to toe Gucci and paired complementary colours yellow and purple to stand out this year! His checked blazer and purple feather boa comprised a fun, effortless, and of course androgynous fashion.
Doja Cat rocked a risky Roberto Cavalli number. From the waist, the dress displayed a biker inspired look with a nude wide-open bodice with black and yellow detail. The bottom of the dress was an extravagant green feathered skirt. The rebellious look was finished off with a short-cut fringe and bold smokey eye.
Rocking a sleek and sexy suit, Ingrid Andress wore a stunning ivory look by Armani Prive at the grammy awards. The suit compromised straight leg trousers, a fitted open blazer, and a diamond cowl like undershirt (if you could call it a shirt). The sophisticated looked was finished with a neat hairdo and three-tier diamond earrings.
Debi Nova was seen donning a show-stopped Georges Chaka dress. The dress was hot pink and featured a faint floral print from the waist down. Although the dress was big in volume, The silhouette featured a straight neckline, high-low hemline and a train, so even though big in volume, Nova was still able to show off her stunning bod!
A dusty pink princess. This year Jhene Aiko made a statement this year with a two-piece tulle design by Monsoori. Not only was the design beautiful in colour, but was filled with frills and ruffles that bounced across the red carpet. The skirt was a fully tired skirt and harmonizing with a bandeau-style top. Aiko rocked loose end braids and elaborate edges.
